    API 5L X70 steel pipe is a high-strength material with a minimum yield strength of 70,300 psi (485 MPa). It is a controlled micro-alloyed carbon-manganese steel, with micro-alloying elements such as niobium (Nb), vanadium (V), and titanium (Ti), totaling no more than 0.15%.
    X70 steel is equivalent to EN 10208 L485MB and DIN 17172 StE 485.7 TM.
    API 5L X70 pipes, the wall thickness can range from Schedule 10 through Schedule 160, and also includes STD (Standard), XS (Extra Strong), and XXS (Extra Extra Strong). This range accommodates nominal pipe sizes from 1/2″ to 48″ in outer diameter.
